Why You Need a Research Organizer

Logging In

There are several ways to log in to NoodleTools:
- Through the Campbell Commons website
- Through Cobb Digital Library
- Through the NoodleTools website
All three require you to use your CCSD Microsoft 365 Login
Practice
Make sure you know how to log in the “slow” way:
- Google “noodletools”
- Open the site
- Click Log In
- Scroll down and click Microsoft 365

Create A NoodleTools Project

How to Create a Project:
- Log in to NoodleTools
- Navigate to the Projects page
- Click the (+ New Project) button

Follow the instructions above to create a NoodleTools project for your research topic.
- Choose a project title that will make sense a year from now
- Choose MLA for the style unless you have a really specific reason not to.
- Note for IB students: MLA is acceptable for all Extended Essay topics. MLA is also likely the style you are most familiar with. You should only choose a different style if your mentor or your teacher tells advises you to.
- Choose “Advanced” for the citation level unless your teacher says otherwise.
Note that Noodletools sorts your projects into different pages by school year. If you wish to access a project created in a previous school year, use the menu at the top right of the projects page.
